An imageboard is a type of internet message board where users can upload images to discuss various topics.

A thread is a discussion topic that someone can start by uploading an image. The orginal poster of a thread is usually reffered to as an OP. A board is a collection of threads that have the same theme. Usually boards are quite specific in what theme they are, but some such as Random or General are quite broad. A post is a reply to a thread and it can also have an image.

To upload an image and start a thread, you must first be on a Board page (the upload for at the top is usually green indicating that starting a thread is possible). Then you must fill out at least the necessary information; such as image to upload, subject, and a comment. After your image is uploaded, the imageboard will automatically redirect you to your new thread.

Replying to a thread is a little different than uploading. If you're on a Board page (with a green form at the top), you simply have to click the reply link found on any post on the page. Then you must fill out the red reply form at the top, and your post will automatically be added to that thread

To favorite a thread for later viewing, you simply must select the red heart found in any thread title (to the left of reply). Once you select a red heart, and favorite a thread, the red heart turns into a green check and a message is displayed at the top. This indicates that a thread is saved in your favorites.

Please also note that favourites are temporarily stored in your cookies, and cannot be saved permanently.

To view a thread from your favorites list, you simple must hover over the green heart near the top right of the page (under the logo). Then you may select to view any thread by click any of the links in the hover menu.

There are two ways to delete a thread from your favorites list. One way is to select remove from the top message that says "You have this topic favorited". Another way is to click on the green check that appears in a thread title. The green check will turn back into a red heard upon deletion from your favorites list.
